Patriots Extend Win Streak to Eight with Commanding Victory Over Jets

Drake Maye throws a touchdown pass during Patriots vs. Jets Week 11 game 2025

The New England Patriots continued their dominant run in Week 11, defeating the New York Jets 27–14 at Gillette Stadium to claim the NFL’s best record at 9–2.
Led by quarterback Drake Maye, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, the Patriots showcased a balanced offense and a relentless defense. Maye, now a frontrunner in the MVP race, connected with wideout TreVeyon Henderson for a 45-yard score that electrified the home crowd.
The Jets, struggling at 2–8, entered the game with uncertainty at quarterback. Head coach Aaron Glenn declined to name a starter until kickoff, ultimately rotating between two QBs in a bid to spark the offense. Despite a few bright moments, including a late touchdown drive, New York couldn’t overcome New England’s early lead.
The game also marked a reunion of sorts, with both teams led by former players turned head coaches—Glenn for the Jets and Mike Vrabel for the Patriots.
With the win, New England solidifies its position atop the AFC and looks ahead to a high-stakes matchup next week. The Jets, meanwhile, face mounting questions as their season slips further out of reach.
